Cross of the Four Crowns
Enlarged view+

The portrayal of the Lamb of God at the center of a cross bearing four crowns surrounded by a golden sphere contains a prophesy regarding the future of the earth. It represents the sign of the cross (the Christ) over the four directions - North, South, East, and West - at the time of the Christ-ing of the earth. In this time, spiritual consciousness will be raised so that all earth's inhabitants worship God and perceive spiritual reality to be the underlying reality of life. The translation of the Latin words on the picture reads:  "The root (branch, stock) of David is victorious and rules from east to west and everywhere well."  This is a reference to the prophecy of Isaiah (11:1) regarding the Christ:  "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots..."

The angels in this picture sing in celebration of this victory.  The crowns represent the rulership of God through the Christ.  The Lamb sits upon a Book, indicating mastery.  This is both a book of Divine knowledge, and a Book of Life containing the seven rays of God that have become part of the Lamb.  The dark ray is the power of darkness which has been absorbed by the Lamb and has therefore become able to return to the greater Light of God.

The future of the earth as a holy planet, an illumined planet, is what is referred to in the Lamb of God picture in keeping with the words of Isaiah, 52:9-10:

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem:  For the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.  The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
